Director: Rajesh Limkar. Synopsis: Eknath was a prominent Marathi religious poet and a saint in the Hindu tradition in 16th century India. Eknath was born in to a Deshastha Brahmin family and lived most of his life in Paithan in Maharashtra, India. Saint Eknath is believed to be the first person in middle-age Maharashtra who abolished the concept of untouchability by his actions. He behaved very politely and gently with untouchable people. His well described poems advocate compassion and equal treatment among all living beings. His work towards the untouchables deeply angered the Brahmin community. His inspiration to fight untouchability was the teachings of Lord Krishna. This film showcases the life of the great sage of India whose teaching summarized to purity of thought, speech and practices.

Vishwanathrao is heavily under debt after a failed business and is chased by his creditors as well his father-in-law who has lent him money for the business. Anant becomes an unwanted guest in the family when he overstays and starts borrowing money from the neighbors and makes numerous shopping sprees on his brother-in-law's credit. Watch Marathi Comedy Play - Varhad Nighalay Londonla. Starring: Dr. Laxman Deshpande. Synopsis: Dr. Laxman Deshpande portrays 52 characters in this play which traces the journey of a village family accepting a British woman as their daughter-in-law. Kashinath is from a small village in Maharashtra who goes to London and meets a British girl named Judy. They both fall in love and decide to get married. The story begins with Judy's father visiting India to finalize the wedding plans. What follows is a laugh riot with Kashinath's family getting caught in a cultural clash which leads to hilarious situations. The play explores the villager's mentality of the 80's and the complex human relationship with thought provoking humor.
